MELBOURNE – Australian fashion company Country Road has launched a AU$1.5 million climate fund with the view to financially backing start-ups via new incubator and accelerator programmes.
Innovators are encouraged to apply by 1st December to be in with a chance of being selected and will be required to provide a budget outlining their incomings and outgoings, in addition to an explanation of how they’d utilise a grant.
“The Country Road Climate Fund was created as part of Country Road’s responsible business journey which strives to drive positive change across climate, nature, and community within our own operations, and also through building positive outcomes in our value chain and beyond,” the firm said in a statement.
