LONDON – Materials science company Pangaia is to launch an apparel collection dyed using a range of coloured powders derived from recycled textile fibres.
From Italian textile chemicals company Officina+39, Recycrom dyestuffs were launched in 2015 and are produced from pulverised dyed cotton textiles that are blended and applied to textiles using special resins and adhesives.
Pangaia has previously committed to becoming net zero in its own operations by 2025 and across its entire supply chain by 2040 as part of its bid to develop an 'Earth positive business model'.
