PARIS – French fashion conglomerate Kering has published its 2021 Environmental Profit and Loss (EP&L) results in which it claims to have achieved its environmental targets four years ahead of schedule.
Kering, which owns brands including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen, said it had already achieved its 2025 target of reducing by 40 per cent impacts across greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water use, pollution, waste and land use.
Kering's EP&L report gives a financial value to the environmental impacts of its business in order to "translate environmental impacts into a language business understands".
