HELSINKI – Materials science company Pangaia has signed a multi-year sales deal with Finnish innovator Infinited Fiber Company (IFC).
Pangaia will leverage the partnership to bring to market what’s said to be the first shirt made entirely from IFC’s proprietary Infinna fibre.
“Pangaia is constantly searching for technologies that can help us utilise waste streams and Infinna reimagines how we can recycle and manage textile waste. This first capsule demonstrates that we can create beautiful products made completely from recycled fibres,” said the brand’s research and development director, Craig Smith.
