GLENDALE – Materials science company Avery Dennison has earned full Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) membership having passed audits at its manufacturing plants around the world.
ETI is a global tripartite organisation comprised of apparel brands, trade unions and non-profits that work together to uphold the rights of all workers, ensuring member companies instil ethical trading practices.
“We are proud of our ETI membership, and see it as 100 per cent consistent with our goal of enhancing the livelihood of our people and communities, which ultimately creates value for everyone in the supply chain,” commented Avery Dennison’s global social compliance manager, Ray Zhang.
