STRATHAM – Outerwear brand Timberland has launched its new Timberloop product take-back scheme online and in stores across the USA.
The initiative entitles consumers to return unwanted Timberland footwear, clothing or accessories in exchange for a 10 per cent discount on a new purchase, and will enable the company to reuse, repair and recycle secondhand stock.
“With the growing awareness of environmental issues and personal consumption choices, I believe our community will be as excited about the Timberloop programme as we are. This is a huge step as we work toward our vision of a more equitable and green future,” said Timberland’s global brand president, Susie Mulder.
