LONDON – Luxury fashion firm Farfetch has acquired resale specialist Luxclusif as it looks to become the “global platform for pre-owned luxury for both consumers and industry partners”.
The deal will see Luxclusif’s team and its technology integrate within the Farfetch group as it looks to advance its secondhand fashion services.
“Having supported Luxclusif as a start-up, bringing them into the Farfetch family marks an exciting culmination in our work to support and develop some of the world’s most exciting fashion and retail tech start-ups,” commented Giorgio Belloli, Farfetch’s chief commercial and sustainability officer.
