LONDON — Secondhand clothing platform Re-Fashion is partnering with digital identity experts Evrything in a bid to increase transparency and circularity across the fashion industry.

The two companies are already working with UK retailer New Look on their technology which enables brands to create a unique digital profile, or digital twin, for every product item.

Consumers simply scan the digital identity on the product’s label with their smartphone to receive information from point of origin through to store, and eventually on to recycling or recommerce.
