DUBLIN – On the opening day of Textile Exchange’s (TE) Textile Sustainability Conference, the organisation has announced the winners of the inaugural Ryan Young Climate+ Awards.
Representatives of environmental organisation Fibershed, printwear company Mantis World, Spanish textile innovator Recover, ‘sustainable’ apparel manufacturer Coyuchi, recycled material supplier Säntis Textiles, and menswear firm Tact & Stone have been labelled climate leaders for their contributions to the industry.
Beth Jensen, Textile Exchange’s Climate+ strategy director, commented: “It is exciting to honour several award recipients who are just starting out in their careers alongside others who have been driving impact reduction for many years.”
