LUXEMBOURG – Sustainability solutions provider Eurofins Softlines and Leather has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with traceability technology manufacturer Tailorlux, becoming the first partner of its digital fibre verification programme.
Tailorlux’s IntegriTex system uses 'inorganic security pigments' (colour particles) as markers in fibres and textiles, which can be identified using light pens. These are used to fight counterfeiting and provide customers with supply chain oversight.
“With Eurofins Softlines & Leather’s global laboratory coverage, Tailorlux technology users can deliver their samples easily to the Eurofins laboratories for validation and further testing to obtain data for quantification,” a Eurofins statement said.
