BURSA – Denim manufacturer ISKO has joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Jeans Redesign Project, an initiative with a mission statement to prolong the lifecycle of denim.
All signatories pledge to work by guidelines that establish minimum requirements on garment durability, material health, recyclability and traceability.
“We are totally dedicated to helping build a sustainable future for the world; it is critical for the industry to work together to bring positive change,” said ISKO’s head of sustainability, Ebru Özküçük. “Our participation in the Jeans Redesign Project brings us one step closer to creating a fully circular fashion industry.”
