EUROPE – A new European initiative has issued an open call to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) transitioning to circular ways of working, as it plans to offer funding to promising projects across the fashion industry.
The ‘Small but Perfectly Formed’ initiative invites start-ups and established SMEs to put themselves forward, and will run an eight-month accelerator programme with an accompanying investment of €10,275 (US$12,500) per partnership.
“Small but Perfectly Formed will accelerate the accelerators by working alongside business support organisations such as fashion weeks, fashion councils, industry bodies and financing/investment schemes to embed circularity, social and environmental sustainability into their business support and showcasing initiatives,” organisers say.
