LATHAM – Material innovator PrimaLoft says it is increasing the amount of post-consumer recycled content in its high-performance Cross Core Series insulation to as much as 90 per cent.
The company says it has succeeded in fusing existing PrimaLoft fibers with next-generation materials while maintaining industry-leading performance attributes.
PrimaLoft say this has been achieved through its use of aerogel, originally developed by NASA scientists, the world's lightest known solid material and one of the best insulators.
