DENVER – US sustainability company ReCircled has acquired fellow circular economy advocate Circlarity, whose technology it will leverage to streamline product returns.
ReCircled, based out of Denver, Colorado, works both with apparel brands and consumers and convenes the two to assist in the transition to a circular economy, through which companies regain unwanted items which they can find new applications for.
It describes Circlarity as a provider of “turnkey solutions” for the apparel and textile industry, and believes the firm’s consumer returns programme could accelerate the ambitions of businesses striving to close the loop on garment manufacture.
