AMSTERDAM - The Dutch Agreement on Sustainable Garments and Textile (AGT) has more than doubled the number of production facilities registered by its members on the Open Apparel Registry (OAR) global database.
From 2016 to 2019, the number of unique production locations increased from 2,800 to nearly 6,000, which AGT says demonstrates its signatories ongoing efforts to increase supply chain transparency.
All AGT companies contribute to the AGT aggregated list on OAR which includes a total of around 45,000 production locations on its full worldwide list.
