LONDON – Marks & Spencer will bring back its Shwopping scheme later this week, encouraging consumers to donate their unwanted garments.
The service, which was ditched only six months ago before the company U-turned on the decision, will benefit the charity Oxfam who’ll take custody of all donations.
Carmel McQuaid, head of sustainable business at M&S, says it’s “a programme that many of our customers rely on as they shop with us for new staples – and now more than ever it’s perfect for those who have been decluttering”.
