BEAVERTON - Sportswear brand Nike has released more sustainable versions of some of its most popular trainers featuring at least 20 per cent recycled materials.
The Nike Sportswear Recycled Canvas pack includes new takes on shoes including the Nike Air Force 1 ’07, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Max 95, Nike Daybreak-Type and Nike Cortez.
They feature recycled canvas uppers, with yarn derived of post-industrial Nike textile waste, 'Flyleather' swooshes and backtabs made from at least 50 per cent recycled leather, as well as recycled foam tongues and laces.
