DUBLIN - Fast fashion retailer Primark has agreed to pay its suppliers in full for all outstanding finished garments and to utilise or pay for any finished fabric liabilities.
The company previously agreed to pay for orders that were in production, finished and planned for handover by 17 April, and also committed to ensuring workers were paid for orders which it cancelled or delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The latest commitment means that all Primark suppliers will be paid for all garments both finished and in production, as well as for any fabric costs incurred for Primark prior to stores closing.
