SYDNEY – Australian retailer David Jones has launched a new platform which champions brands that adhere to its social and environmental sustainability criteria.
The Mindfully Made initiative will only enlist companies which comply with one or more of its five sustainability principles: Australian Made, Community Minded, Sourced with Care, Reduce and Recycle, and Kind to Animals.
“We recognise our responsibility to drive positive change in the industry and are in a unique position to highlight brands making meaningful progress in this space,” David Jones’s head of sustainability Eloise Bishop said in a statement.
