ONLINE - A webinar has been held to discuss how different stakeholders in the textile and garment industry can work together to help Asian supply countries weather the coronavirus crisis.
The event, entitled Getting Through the Crisis Together, was organised by the FABRIC initiative of the GIZ German development agency which aims to promote sustainability in the textile and garment industry in Asia.
Introducing the event, Marc Beckmann, project director with FABRIC, said the organisation was working to bring people together in Asian supply countries to address the pandemic by sharing knowledge, finding best practices and promoting long term sustainability.
