TOKYO – Apparel fastener innovator and supplier YKK has partnered with Oceanworks, an organisation which platforms recycled ocean plastic, to support its mission of broadening the applications of this otherwise polluting material.
The partnership has been forged after successful stints of collaboration, in which Oceanworks assisted YKK when establishing a supply chain for its new Natulon zippers, made from ocean plastics sourced along the coast of Sri Lanka.
