PHNOM PENH – Cambodia’s Labour Ministry has extended the country’s Better Factories Cambodia (BFC) project for another three-year term.
Until 2022, the BFC’s Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) – which comprises representatives of the government, the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia (GMAC) and native unions – will continue to serve as a watchdog of the country’s apparel manufacturing industry, ensuring factories act in compliance with national and international labour laws.
