NEW YORK - Womenswear brand Rebecca Taylor has introduced a new circularity service in which customers can trade in lightly worn garments which can then be repaired, cleaned, and resold.
The company's 'ReCollect' programme aims to repurpose pre-loved Rebecca Taylor garments that might otherwise join the estimated 10 million tons of unwanted clothing that ends up in landfill in the US alone each year.
Rebecca Taylor says ReCollect offers an opportunity to extend the lifecycle of its "timeless, quality, and enduring pieces" while reducing waste and encouraging responsible consumption.
