LONDON – Findings from a new survey conducted by charitable organisation Oxfam indicate that huge volumes of sequinned outfits and accessories will be worn once and discarded over the festive period.
Of the 2,000 women surveyed, aged between 18 and 55, half admitted they would abandon their fast fashion pieces after office parties and get togethers – this is corroborated by research from Hubbub which yesterday revealed an average expenditure for an adult of around £73 for Christmas parties, with one in five adamant they’d be wear their new garments on more than one occasion.
