CALIFORNIA – Technological solutions provider Yerdle, which has enabled the likes of Patagonia and outdoor retailer REI to establish in-house resale platforms over recent years, has received funding to the sum of US$20 million from a Series C investment round.
A total of eight investment businesses have provided the cash injection, which will be used by Yerdle to support its growing number of brand partners keen to reclaim and re-market their used stock.
“We want to help brands capture the demand that already exists for their used goods and reclaim their customers that have been gravitating towards third-party platforms,” Yerdle’s CEO and founder Andy Ruben said. “Brands have a right to win in the resale space and we want to support their entry and long term success in this new retail category.”
