HONG KONG - Leading brands are making progress to meeting the targets of the UN's Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, which aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, but still have a long way to go, according to a new report.
The report, entitled 'Sustainable fashion: Committing to a sustainable future through the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action', was commissioned by the Hong Kong Fashion Summit 2019.
It examined publicly available information, including sustainability reports and corporate websites, on the performance of the 43 signatories of the UN's Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action.
