BEIJING – The Collaboration for Sustainable Development of Viscose (CV) has issued a statement in response to departure of Lenzing Nanjing Fibers (LNF) from the initiative, stating that it respects the company’s decision.
Last month, the Chinese arm of Lenzing Group’s operations announced that it intended to ‘pursue its own path to green up the industry’ and would therefore be leaving CV.
Within the statement issued in response, there is a hint that Lenzing Nanjing may not be the last name to leave the Collaboration, with CV making it clear that it is seeking to work with “committed producers and stakeholders.”
