LONDON - Online fashion retailer ASOS will today return to the House of Lords to co-host a second Modern Slavery forum with Baroness Lola Young, co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion.
This comes almost one year to the day since an inaugural session, which addressed shared risks in the apparel sector, was undertaken with participation from fellow retailer M&S, alongside ASOS’ third party brands including Dr Martens, Fred Perry, and River Island.
This year’s event has the primary aim of receiving concrete pledges from third party brands to ensure they actively engage in initiatives to tackle modern slavery.
