STOCKHOLM - Mistra has published the two-part Fiber Bible, aiming to identify the textile fibres with the greatest potential to “mitigate the environmental impact of fibres currently dominating the fashion industry.”
Part One of the Fiber Bible report primarily concerned the technical performance of new and potentially sustainable textile fibres, in direct comparison to those most commonly used in the industry. Part Two quantifies the environmental performance of textile fibres by mapping and discussing data available in existing resources and literature.
