VIENNA – Textile certification institute, OETI has announced that the Made in Green by Oeko-Tex standard has had its first customer in its native country of Austria. Austrian hotel bedding and linen manufacturer, Amidex has signed up to the standard, which is an independent textile label for consumer products and semi-finished products and uses the OETI to test for substances throughout the supply chain that may be potentially hazardous to the environment or human life.
