PARIS - German functional textiles business, Sympatex Technologies, has won a prestigious award for its 100 per cent recycled and recyclable functional laminates. The company received the Eco Design Textiles and Footwear prize in the French Ecosport Awards which were launched by the French Ministry of Sports and Ecology, the Ministry of Urban Affairs, Youth and Sport and the Professional Association Sports & Leisure. The awards recognise initiatives and products by companies from the sports industry which support environmental protection and sustainability.
