LONDON – Designer Ammo Liao has developed a new knitted shoe which is made from one single plastic material for easier recyclability. The show follows in the footsteps of sports brands Adidas and Nike – both of which have been experimenting with knitted shoes in bid to save waste in the production process – however, Liao has gone a step further by using a range of techniques to provide different properties to different parts of the shoe.
