YORK - The California-based
Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute is to train at least 100
assessors and certify 1,000 consumer products by 2015 in an effort to jumpstart
a market for green chemistry that will protect the environment and human health
while growing the economy.
Using Cradle to Cradle certification protocol, the not for-profit Institute, previously known Green Products Innovation Institute, works to develop comprehensive metrics and standards for every day products, including clothing and textiles, which are safe and healthy for the environment.
