As the textile industry prepares for incoming legislation regarding waste management, we took a moment to speak with Amelia Eleiter, who is the CEO and co-founder of Debrand, a Canada based textile waste sorter that specialises in matching brands with various waste solutions.
As a company, Debrand take the brands textile waste and identifies the next steps to ensure that it stays out of landfill. "It's an ecosystem of responsibility and that's truly how we're going to get there," Eleiter says. "All of us putting the time in, and the learnings in and being transparent and authentic in what's possible today and how we build infrastructure systems and innovation for tomorrow."
