SAMARKAND – Textile-to-textile recycling start-up RE&UP has won the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) start-up award for 2024, alongside H&M-founded textile-to-textile recycling start-up Syre, bio-based agricultural fibre start-up Sci-Lume Labs, and high-tech materials company Sycoretec.
The winners will share their business models and methodologies with established companies to further explore how their practices can be integrated into sustainable textile manufacturing.
