DHAKA - A change in the leadership of the body which represents Bangladesh's garment export industry - the world's second largest after China - looks inevitable after violence flared in a hostile takeover bid.

Fighting broke out outside the Dhaka HQ of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) this week after a group of members demanded the resignation of its board of directors.
