SINGAPORE – Agriculture supply chain management firm Olam Agri has suffered a setback in its bid to acquire Australia’s largest cotton processing firm, Namoi Cotton.

The Singapore-based group has been involved in a bidding war to acquire Namoi Cotton, an early adopter of the FibreTrace textile traceability platform, with the firm’s minority shareholder, global commodity specialist, Louis Dreyfus Group.
