WASHINGTON DC - More than 1,000 US fashion imports worth at least $46 million have been checked since the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) came into effect, according to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Latest figures reveal that a total of 1,090 apparel, textile and footwear shipments had been inspected by the end of November, of which 571, worth $13 million, were seized and 339, worth $27 million, released.
