AMSTERDAM - The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) has announced plans for a new strategy focused on three pillars - combating climate change, ensuring decent work for all, and shaping a nature-positive future.
The SAC also says it plans to "move beyond just tool development" to harness the power of data to create a "meaningful, measurable impact" on the fashion and textiles industry's most urgent issues.
Announcing the new strategy during New York Climate Week, Amina Razvi, CEO of the SAC, said: "We stand at a crossroads. We can either remain passive participants or become catalysts for profound, industry-wide change. This isn't just the SAC's journey; it's a collective endeavour."
