COPENHAGEN - VF Corp, which owns brands including The North Face, Timberband and Vans, has co-launched a new initiative aimed at accelerating the transition to a circular economy in the fashion and textiles industry.

The company linked up with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and business consultants Deloitte Switzerland to launch the CTI Fashion Initiative.

Unveiled at the Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen, the new scheme aims to establish harmonised standards, metrics, data and best practices to scale up circularity throughout the value chain.
