PARIS - Buying second-hand has become “more ingrained in consumers’ approach to buying fashion”, according to a new impact report released today by fashion resale platform Vestiaire Collective after undertaking a global survey of 3,500 platform users.
The report says that 82% of resale purchases on the platform prevent a first-hand purchase, which it claims is up 70% in comparison to findings in their 2022 impact report.
