BENGALURU - A partnership backed by the H&M Foundation to develop circular textiles practices, while improving the lives of 20,000 textile waste pickers in India, has welcomed two new partners on board.
The new partners in the multi-year Saamuhika Shakti project are Intellecap’s Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF) and Stichting Enviu Nederland (Enviu).
They will work with waste pickers already involved in the programme on two projects - to develop a micro-entrepreneurship model on textile waste, and to set up a circular B2B linen enterprise.
