STOCKHOLM / SHANGHAI - Swedish textile-to-textile recycling innovator Renewcell and Chinese viscose manufacturer Tangshan Sanyou are to work together to scale the production of viscose made from 100% recycled textiles from 2024.

The two companies say their shared ambition is to offer manufacturers and brands Circulose viscose fibres made entirely from recycled pre- and post-consumer textile waste in commercial quantities.

The announcement - made at the Intertextile Shanghai fair - is the latest stage in a partnership between Renewcell and Tangshan Sanyou that stretches back to 2018.
