AMSTERDAM – The ZDHC Foundation, which works towards the zero discharge of hazardous chemicals, has announced a new programme which aims to identify preferred textile chemicals based on both performance and sustainability attributes.
The ZDHC's new 'Chemicals to Zero' (CtZ) leader programme aims to help brands and suppliers in the fashion industry to achieve sustainable chemical management and minimise negative effects on human health and the environment.
CtZ aims to identify the best performing chemical products based on their performance and sustainable chemistry attributes and will identify them as 'foundational', 'progressive' or 'aspirational'.
