SAN FRANCISCO – Environmental non-profit Stand.Earth has published an analysis of the net-zero commitments of 10 Fashion Charter signatory companies.
It comes after the release of new UN guidance, presented at COP27, which it’s hoped will provide clarity regarding the steps a company must take to reach net-zero.
Having found discrepancies between the fashion firms’ commitments to tackling carbon emissions, adopting renewable energy and promoting transparency, Stand.Earth stressed: “It’s time to stop net-zero greenwashing and push for urgent and transparent action.”
