BARCELONA – Spanish fashion brand Mango has launched a fashion startup accelerator to help develop new innovations aimed - in part - at making the industry more sustainable.
The Mango StartUp Studio, a collaboration with the IESE business school, has a budget of €3 million (US$3.15m) and involves the participation of more than 50 companies.
Sustainability and technology have been established as priority areas for the project which aims to make "seed capital investments that bring innovation to the value chain of the fashion industry and improve customer experience”.
