SAN FRANCISCO – Resale technology startup Archive has secured US$8 million in funding, which will be used to further develop its infrastructure and scale its operations.
The company has worked with the North Face, Filippa K and Oscar de la Renta to date, helping them integrate secondhand services within their operations.
Oscar de la Renta’s chief executive Alex Bolen was amongst the investors, and said: “We believe that resale will be a key driver for both acquisition and retention of our customers for the foreseeable future. As such, developing a robust resale experience that is consistent with the existing world of Oscar de la Renta has been a strategic imperative.”
