LEEK - Supply chain transparency amongst fashion brands and retailers is increasing but progress is "too slow and too shallow", according to a new report from the Fashion Revolution initiative.
The NGO surveyed the policies of 63 major brands and retailers for a new update to its 2020 study, 'Out of Sight: A Call for Transparency From Field To Fabric'.
It found that only two of the companies published a full list of their textile production sites, an increase of one from last year, while 49 disclosed where their garments were cut and sewn, two more than last year.
