DHAKA - Sportswear brand Puma, Denmark and the Netherlands are stepping up their efforts to help the Bangladeshi garment industry reduce its impact on climate change.
They are renewing their commitment to the International Finance Corporation's (IFC) Partnership for Cleaner Textile (PaCT) programme to support the decarbonisation of the sector in Bangladesh.
The Danish Embassy in Bangladesh has committed additional funds of US$3.19 million towards the project through the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA).
