BREGANZE - Italian denim brand Diesel has announced a new sustainability initiative – called Diesel Library - which focuses on longer lasting "made to stay" denim garments.
Diesel’s creative director Glenn Martens says the range of jeans, jackets, tops and skirts takes a genderless design approach and is “conceived to outlive trends and last for years on end”.
The Diesel Library collection will utilise organic and recycled fabrics, and be produced with washes and treatments that minimise the use of water and chemicals. Half of the collection will have a permanent shelf life.
